Backyard and acreage parties
Spreads built to sit out and be picked at all afternoon.
Between Abbotsford and Langley
About 15 minutes west of our kitchen
Yes. Aldergrove is about 15 minutes west of our Abbotsford kitchen, off Highway 1 at 264th Street, so it is one of the two easiest areas we serve. We cater backyard and acreage gatherings, barn weddings, memorials and office lunches, arriving ready to serve with no kitchen needed on site.
A mezze table plus charcoal grilled mains, delivered set up and ready to serve, or collected from our Abbotsford kitchen. Private property almost every time: yards, acreages, barns and cleared shops rather than commercial venues.
Aldergrove is practically next door. West on Highway 1 to the 264th Street exit and we are there in about fifteen minutes, which makes it the shortest run we make and one where short notice is genuinely workable.
Most of what we cater here happens on properties rather than in venues. Acreages, large yards, shops and barns cleared out for a party. That setting rewards food that does not need a commercial kitchen or a service team standing by. We bring the spread ready to eat, set it out, and the host gets to host. There is no chafing rig to hire and nobody has to stand over the trays.
Because it sits right between Abbotsford and Langley, Aldergrove events often pull guests from both directions, and guest counts tend to run higher than people first estimate. We would rather you over-order slightly than watch the trays empty with a third of the room still waiting. Mezze makes that easy to adjust right up close to the date.
Not on the list is not the same as not possible. Tell us the address when you call and we will be straight about it. The full picture of how we work is on our catering page.

What we cater here
Mostly these four. Anything built around a shared table works, because a mezze spread scales by adding trays rather than re-planning the menu.
Spreads built to sit out and be picked at all afternoon.
No commercial kitchen needed; we arrive ready to serve.
Generous portions for a guest list that keeps growing.
Quiet, warm food arranged without a lot of back and forth.
We deliver it set up and ready to serve, or you collect it from our Abbotsford kitchen at no extra cost. Yes, easily. Fifteen minutes each way makes pickup a genuinely sensible choice here.
Everything on our menu can be ordered as a catering spread: charcoal grilled kabab and shish tawook, toshka, kibbe, rice, tabouli and Armenian salad, warm bread, and dips by the half kilo. If you are still working out quantities, our guide to planning food for 20, 50 or 100 guests does the math with you.
Before you call
Yes, and it is the easiest area we serve outside Abbotsford at about 15 minutes from our kitchen. Backyard gatherings, acreage and barn weddings, memorials and office lunches all work. Because we are close, we can often accommodate shorter notice here than further west.
Yes, and that is most of what we do in Aldergrove. We arrive with the spread ready to serve, so no kitchen, no chafing setup and no service staff are required. The dips, salads, bread and many mains are good at room temperature, which suits a party that runs for hours.
Plan slightly generous, because Aldergrove guest lists grow. Mezze makes that easy: the spread widens by adding trays rather than changing the menu, so a late addition is a phone call. Our guide to catering for 20, 50 or 100 guests does the arithmetic with you before you ring.
It depends on your guest count, how much of the spread is grilled mains versus mezze, and whether you want drop off or more help on the day. We would rather talk it through on the phone than post a number that fits nobody. Call us with your headcount and occasion and we will walk you through it plainly.
These are the pieces that answer the questions Aldergrove customers ask most, written before you spend money rather than after.
